When is Josh going to go on Sorted food and do a pass it on? The chaos will be funny. Or do a MK vs SF pass it on Head to Head.
Ebber's ability to remain stone faced and serious is legendary.
I love being an American wondering which American dish was fake
The average American bachelorette party has fewer phallic puns than this episode.
Watching this while sitting in Goosnargh, Lancashire is pretty hilarious. Better luck next time Josh
10:58 I guessed the peas one because eating with the shell feels like such a modern prentious farm to table tasting menu thing.
When Ebbrell said that people use the oyster shell to eat the food as a way to feel at one with it, I quickly thought that was the fake. With the backstory of it being hundreds of years old and from the UK, I felt that people would've cared more about making sure they weren't hungry than about connecting with food on such a deep level
Josh and Ebbers get on so well. Two food history nerds with very different personalities, but they just work so well together.
Can I suggest getting Ben back, both of you create fake historic food and 3 real and invite Max Miller figure out which is fake? A 3 way with Sorted and Tasting History would be epic!
I could tell the fake British one from the description. It sounded way too new age hippy drippy when describing using the oyster shell. People in the early modern period did not think like that lol
