I worked in the kitchen at Olive Garden about 15 years ago. I don't know if things have changed but back then I frequented working the bread station far more often than I liked. The bread came in par-baked, you baked it and then added liquid margarine and then put on garlic salt that came to the store pre-mixed. When you worked the bread station you'd go home at the end of the night just caked in garlic salt. I used to joke that I felt like I'd been pre-seasoned for cannibals.
The Texas Roadhouse rolls are so good I looked up the copy cat recipe and the honey butter. I find reasons to make them and ruin my appetite for dinner. Worth it.
