As a child of the 60's, this is the first time I've been moved, not by anger at what they've done to The Doctor, but by profound sadness. Thanks for this great epitaph to a once great show...
They took a universally loved show and made it universally unenjoyable. Pandering to a small population, and most people in that small population don't even like the show anymore because the story doesn't make any sense! They didn't just kill the show. They pissed on its grave and then spat in its fandom's face.
