Why Hollywood is FAILING - The Devil's in The DEI

Hollywood is flooded with activists instead of writers, producers, directors, and show runners. That's literally what happened.

Activists: "We didn't read the comics and source material." Us: "We didn't watch your shows and movies."

DEI = Didn't Earn It

"We make comic book movies for people who are not comic book fans, and that were created by people who are not comic book fans." ~Hollywood "Who are these movies for, exactly?" ~America

The arrogance is bad enough, the lack of talent is beyond belief.

Johnny Depp nailed it last May: “I don't feel boycotted by Hollywood, because I don't think about Hollywood. I don't have much further need for Hollywood, myself,” Depp said. “It's a strange, funny time where everybody would love to be able to be themselves, but they can't. They must fall in line with the person in front of them. If you want to live that life, I wish you the best.”

These people take joy in destroying the work of far more talented, defenseless creators.

Imagine a movie critic saying: "I didn't actually watch the movie."

It's not about equality or even equity. It's about power.

This is the real "cultural appropriation". People that don't give a crap about comics, producing movies about comics. And telling the comic lovers who are experts, to shut up and like it.
