As much as I don't like Windows, I must say that RDP from a Windows machine to another Windows machine is by far the best remote desktop solution created so far.
Just use Sunshine + Moonlight, both are open source, self hosted and provide full hardware acceleration. Been using this for a while as a Developer and Gamer, and the experience is great! Also if you want to go truly remote, add tailscale to this stack. That's it, that's all you need.
"Gooey" is normal. I had a CompSci professor that would say "Earl" for URL. That was rough.
Somewhere in India a lot of people paying attention now.
Saw the blurred rustdesk UI and knew it was going to be a good video
“But I want to tell you a story first. Is that OK?” 😂 our guy Chuck is the Blue’s Clues for IT
If you're like me and suffer from "Get to the damn point!" Syndrome, the important bit starts at around 7:10
Dude this is sponsorship done right. I think i speak for most of us when I say sponsorships are usually annoying, naggy, and not relevant to the subject (i.e. shaving kits on a cyber security video, etc). That transition to the Twingate ad and its relevance to remote access was just absolutely perfect, and a good option for home users like us or small teams with a few devices. Thanks for all the info, very well done.
twingate looks a hell like tailscale, especially the config gui
Thank you for doing sponsorship this way. Usually the moment a creator mentions a sponsor I just tap ‘next’ 6 times to skip 60 seconds. This was actually informative.
