Description

On "Banfield," Katherine Ramsland, Bryan Kohberger’s former professor and adviser at DeSales University, breaks her silence in an exclusive interview with NewsNation. As Kohberger accepts a plea deal to avoid the death penalty, trading it for life without parole and waiving all appeals, some families are left wanting more. Also, Mike Baker of the New York Times joins NewsNation to break down the Kohberger plea deal. Then, Jesse Weber joins "Banfield" to preview what could unfold in Kohberger’s court hearing Wednesday. While he's expected to plead guilty to the killings of four University of Idaho students, reversing course after insisting police had the wrong man, many questions remain. Also, veteran Idaho defense attorney Edwina Elcox joins to break down the pivotal role Judge Steven Hippler will play in Kohberger’s plea deal. This case is very haunting. It seems like he killed them because he just wanted to know what it’s like to kill. He did it for the thrill. Crazy!

I wonder if, after this plea deal is done, any of the massive amounts of evidence in this case will eventually be released. It's amazing how much has come out already but there is surely more.

Wow. This is intense. I can't imagine the pressure judge feels as well. My heart is with these families today. Regardless of the outcome, BK should have to provide all details in this... where the murder weapon is... why he did it... all of it.

A lot of context and character can be gained through reading over whatever Brian turned in for homework assignments on such topics.

These psychopaths have split off parts - personas - that they operate through. So he could be the good son, the gifted student, the attentive husband and father, but then there is a dark, hidden side that is all consuming and holding sway over the rest. The other parts operate in service of the dark side. Hubris, rejection - dangerous trigger for a psycho.
