Aside from structural damage, the leg quadrants have to be reconstructed. And the running style that he has along with what it takes to be him, coming back is going to be highly difficult. It's like Derrick Rose having to have had to redefine his game after the injury/s, but football as a contact sport is high-stakes with multiple ligament, nerve, and movement restoration. Well wishes for a miraculous recovery.
I hope he comes back AND DOMINATES LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!
