"Remember when we learned that our wealthiest and most powerful people were connected to a guy who ran a literal child sex trafficking ring? And then that guy died mysteriously in a jail? And now we just don't talk about it." JD Vance - Tweet 9/4/2021.

Saagar is a skilled orator. Better than most professors I’ve seen give lectures.

I’m so glad you’re keeping this alive. I’m so pissed this is getting buried.

Growing up in Ohio, in towns along I75, we were often told to be weary of strangers because it’s known as the child trafficking highway of the US. I would often times watch other vehicles and passengers as a kid while we’d travel to the Toledo Zoo, or Columbus zoo, and to Dayton and Cincinnati to visit family or events, and “see something, say something” was a huge part of growing up in the area. I would often wonder how close in proximity I might be to a missing child my same age on that highway at any given time. While I can’t say I recall seeing anything to say anything, it’s astounding that this was LITERALLY happening around the block from some of the places we’d visit frequently. The Wexner estate is less than 15 minutes from THREE locations we’d visit dozens of times per YEAR. It makes me sick to even think about how local this global issue is to me, and how few people I know that are discussing it.
