This Trash Cost $320 Million

I'm convinced movie budgets are a scheme to money launder; how the hell do you have $320m and no one has ever heard of your movie.

It sucks because the Electric State is actually a really cool concept and it's artwork in the original artbook is amazing. Just goes to show that Netflix can't be trusted with anything.

Kind of painfully ironic that the artbook meant to criticize the end results of unchecked capitalism and rampant consumerism ended up becoming a piece of unwatchable corporate sludge itself

Remember, kids. Godzilla Minus One had a budget of roughly $15 million. You don't need absurd budgets to make movies these days.

It’s incredible how a Hollywood exec can take one look at one of the most beautiful, artful books ever made, and turn it into basically another Marvel Movie without superheroes.

Arcane was 250mil but set a new standard. Netflix payed 320mil to produce background noise.

All that money on robot mascots and they couldn’t even throw ONE BIONICLE into the movie. What a shame.
