The demogorgons left after they saw the script
It’s pretty fucking easy to explain what happened with S5: They were too scared to take any risks.
Dustin’s bullies did more damage to him than the mind flayer 😒
The biggest plot hole is why Hopper and the gang were casually returning to the real world when they knew Military was hunting them
They “wanted to focus on the final battle” that lasted 5 minutes and didn’t even come close to threatening any of the main characters because plot armor
At this point I have to believe the rumors that Ross Duffer's ex-wife was actually a ghost writer the entire time...
The Duffers - "I don't know man.. do I look like the creator of the show or something?"
It seems like they lost their best ghostwriters and had to write S5 by themselves
Derek's family is still tied up in the barn to this day
