Imagine if the streaming service didn’t work on Sunday 😂
The hell is Chick-fil-a going to stream, rotisserie chicken being cooked ? 💀
A fast food chain starting a streaming service is one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard. “Subscribe for 12 months and we’ll give you a two for one deal on our menu whenever you order!”, I imagine something like that would be promoted on their service no doubt about it.
Imagine you get food poisoning in a Chick-Fil-A but you can't sue because you had one free month of Chickflix
They saw Disney almost avoid a wrongful death lawsuit for that poor woman with nut allergies due to her husband having signed up for a Disney+ trial and thought, "Bet."
Remember when South Park made fun of every company having a Prime or +? Remember when South Park was unrealistic and fantastical? I miss those days.
I remember people were annoyed with cable because you had to spend extra money for a whole channel just to watch one or two shows you liked and that was ridiculous, Now we have to spend money on different streaming platforms for only one or two shows that are worth watching, and some streaming services don't even give you all of the seasons of the show.
"Original shows" from streaming services is the 2010's and 2020's equivalent of "straight to video" from the 80s, 90s, and early 00s.
I was super against piracy until this whole streaming mess started. I can’t watch all of Pokémon in one convenient place? Watch me!
I've just started collecting DVDs. The streaming market is just too crazy. There's honestly no reason not to physically own the movies and shows you watch frequently.
