Keanu reviewing his own movie is wild work
John Wick is basically the Darth Vader of the universe. He could have 5 mins in a spinoff but thats the part everyone gonna remember from the movie most likely
Charlie: As far as I know I have no relation to that Man Also Charlie: These are mags. Not clips
The original script wasn't even in the John Wick franchise. It was reworked into the John Wick universe after they brought it director Len Wiseman who shot and built an entire film that was abandoned after screening audiences hated it. They then brought in "Wick" director Chad Stahelski to reshoot most(?) of it and assemble this Frankenstein monster of a film. I'm amazed it's as good as it is.
I personally don't want a John Wick 5 despite LOVING the franchise. Even the director himself knows it may have overstayed its welcome.. in other words, they don't wanna milk it.
"As far as i know a have no releation to that man" Like he doesn't have a high caliber rifle under his desk
Really cool to see Charles give the spotlight to Ana de Armas in his own action movie. What a true sweetheart.
I really liked how Eve was constantly getting her ass kicked throughout the movie. Just because she was the protagonist didn’t mean she was gonna kill everyone with ease, she was constantly taking hits but pushing through
IMO one thing that this movie did pretty well is distinguish John from Eve. Eve, even though she is an absolute killing machine, is clearly more inexperienced, she misses shots, she gets hit and beat up, she doesn't rely on throws and jujitsu as much as John does, which is great because she's much smaller than 90% of the people she fights. She has her own style, her own strengths and more importantly, weaknesses. Where as John, who is supposed to be the best of the best, we see in the one scene that he has in the movie just effortlessly kills everyone, one-tapping people across the building with a pistol while manhandling like 3 people on the ground. Also we get to see Eve go face to face with John, where he pretty effortlessly shuts her down, because he is HIM. Like the goons said, "It's John Wick, its suicide to go against him"
"There's 3 of us it's just one of him " "Yeah but it's John wick " is such Arkham dialogue I loved it
