Elden Ring movie confirmed

For anyone doubting: Alex Garland, the writer and director of the movie, stated in a Reddit AMA a month ago that he’s currently on NG+6 in Elden Ring. He’s also spoken in the past about Dark Souls being one of his favorite games ever. His filmography includes Ex Machina and Annihilation, which are two of the finest sci-fi movies of the last decade. This guy is both a huge fan of the game and also a legitimate talent as a filmmaker. Who knows if the movie will be good, but the pieces are in place for this to be something special.

I don't see an Elden Ring movie working if they try to make it about the events of the game. But if they gave us The Shattering in detail, that I think would be awesome~
