For those worm dudes u can throw ur spear projectile thing at the floor and it one shots them btw. Ur cross hair will turn red if one is there. Hope this makes things easier!

Hey charlie, if you read this then keep in mind that you can get the full boss gear of every boss by farming that boss. So you want the soul eater gear, farm the boss from the second chapter
As far as difficulty goes I'd say the level traversing is easier than other souls games but the bosses are more difficult. Typically you won't be fighting something as difficult as Maluca until much further into the game. I mean, the 3rd boss in this game has 4 phases and 2 health bars lol.
Nice to see Charlie also runs spear with virtually no spirit attacks lol
