The Candace Owens Podcast Situation Exposes A Lot, Leaving America, & The Problem With Public School

Teacher here! We no longer hold parents accountable, let alone their kids. I had a student whose parent said I wasn’t allowed to teach him about other cultures or religions (non-white HIGHLY Christian fundamentalist family). This was a world cultures and religions history class. Admin agreed with the parent, despite my curriculum being a graduation requirement, and allowed him to just sit in the hallway or roam around the building every class. He started two fights that year which I was supposed to report on because he was “in my class”. Another student in my building threatened a kid with a knife in the bathroom, but because the parent threatened to sue for “allowing her kid to be bullied” there was only one day of detention. Admin and board members are so terrified to tell parents no that they are actively causing disruptions and violence in classrooms.

I hate when American immigrants call themselves “Expats” meanwhile referring to my community as immigrants.

I spent over 160$ on getting a passport with no plans to visit anywhere abroad, and have a document go bag, and an emergency rendezvous city planned with my family. THIS IS NOT NORMAL.

Honest question: with podcasts going into video, what's the difference between a podcast and a regular YouTube video, now? Do you think the growth numbers of podcasts might be just because the definition of "podcast" might have expanded to include traditional streaming video?
