Nurse here. The CDC not sharing data with the WHO is extremely upsetting and frightening, as is the lack of communication from US health agencies in general. I mean, viruses don’t respect national borders or executive orders…

Canadian viewer here. I can confirm, when news of Trump's tariffs on Canadian goods was breaking back in January, I completely changed my purchasing behaviour. I switched to grocery and retail chains that stock more Canadian goods and check to make sure I was buying Canadian companies and products made in Canada. It's been tough, not just finding alternatives to American goods but also watching as the strong diplomatic relationship between Canada and the US get flushed down the toilet. Nearly every American I talk with is frustrated over this, everyone kind of realizes no one is going to benefit from increased tariffs.

Andrew Tate saying that he moved to Romain because it’s corrupt and then complains that it’s not democratic enough. lol make it make sense.

Cancelling the meeting last minute seems like a way of covertly banning the flu vaccine without having to take the obvious political L that would go along with it.

I'm an ex cancer patient who was diagnosed at 17 and now I'm a doctor. A class like the professor's in question should be in every single medical school. I was a facilitator/tutor in a medical ethics component of the degree and it was great to be able to give back and run these things for sure, but whenever i tried to bring real patients into the program, my medical school resisted. Half because it was hard to facilitate and change a curriculum. Half because they saw it being at risk of being too unprofessional. Really cool to see Stanford taking this aspect of health seriously. I hope more around the world do so as well!

Dr Lin story is really so moving. I’m a medical student and I completed my oncology rotation last year. When you’re wading through the countless lectures and textbooks it’s easy to get lost in it. The most impactful and lasting classes I’ve had, have always been the talks given by current cancer patients, survivors, and those given on behalf of a loved family member. Those are the ones that staid with me and gave me perspective. I’m wishing Dr Lin and his loved ones truly all the best
