It's a credit to Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd's chemistry that nobody questioned why a teenage skateboarder and elderly scientist would hang out together, seemingly with no friends of their own ages. The directors stated that Marty did odd jobs for Doc as a younger teenager.
Back to the future was made for pitch meetings, it has SO many weird details and yet it’s a classic
a film like this really shows how you can have the weirdest plot full of holes, but if you have 2 actors who have incredible chemistry, charming, playing characters who stand up for the little guy, with hearts of gold, even if misguided and a little dumb...it can be an absolute classic
The "I incest...insist!" joke still cracks me up, all these years later. Also, kudos to John Mulaney , for helping to inspire these sketches.
"If we don't have flying skateboards and cars by then, what the hell are we even doing" *looks at camera* 😂😂😂
Ryan George making a meta comment about society while staring intensely into the camera is tight! 7:55
No matter how many individual pitch meetings I watch I’ll always come back for the compilation lol
Hey Ryan! I just wanted to say a big thank you. Two years ago my wife was diagnosed with leukemia 2 days before christmas. She spent almost a year away from us in hospitals and isolation. For a year I was balancing work, nursuring her and taking care of our two daughters. My wife is luckily the strongest person ever, she is in full remission and back at home with us. We are blessed. I just wanted to say, having your pitch meetings in 1 ear during chores and driving was a lifesaver. Reallt helped my mind from racing too much and helped me avoiding a complete breakdown. Thank you again <3
"People are going to enjoy this?" "Yep, it's gonna be a classic"
"so Marty interacts with a little hobbit looking kid"... 😂 It's Frodo! ICYMI Elijah Wood plays the kid AND Frodo. That was an AMAZING reference line! 😂
