Learn how core concepts like money, individualism, and the nation-state are not objective realities but powerful, constructed illusions. This framework trains you to see the world more clearly by reversing modern assumptions.

Short Summary

  • Validate analytical models by testing predictions against current geopolitical events.
  • Understand money creation as alchemy, exposing why scarcity and poverty are maintained deliberately.
  • Identify individualism and modern science as ideologies that prevent collective action and enforce subservience to authority.
  • Discover that modern concepts (money, the individual, nation-state) originate from monotheistic thought, turning "nothing into everything."

This lecture introduces a framework for analyzing history and the future by validating models through current geopolitics. Professor Jiang challenges fundamental beliefs concerning finance (money is infinite), human nature (the collective matters more than the individual), and social organization (the nation-state is a manufactured concept). Mastering this thinking shifts focus from mere pleasure toward flourishing (Eudaimonia).

Description

In this lecture, Professor Jiang proposes that by studying geo-politics we can develop analytical frameworks that permit us to predict the future. If our predictions turn out to be accurate, we can use these validated frameworks to reveal the secret history of humanity. How does power work? Professor Jiang proposes that power is alchemy, and allows those in power to transform lead into gold. We are taught in science class that alchemy is a pseudo-science. But in fact we have achieved alchemy with the concept of money. I see some people critiquing his teaching methods and the way he makes definitive statements. You have to understand that he’s developing a lesson on the dynamics and structure of power. Some generalizations and assumptions have to be made. This is not a debate, it’s a lesson. A lesson that he developed based on his study and experience. It’s meant to provoke and elicit free thought. It’s not the end all be all. Picking apart everything you don’t agree with is absolutely fine. But acting like he’s supposed to teach and align with your every thought isn’t practical. Enjoy it, and learn from it. Great class and amazing ideas!! Thank you professor!

There is a steady progression in listening to this: 1 "wtf that's absurd", 2 "ok I'll keep my mind open", 3 "fine - maybe there's something to this", 4 "of course - why didn't I see this before?"
