Electronic security technician here. If youre just looking for something to sit at your front door and watch your cars over night while youre asleep these can do the job. But if youre wanting something essentially maintenance free, and once its done its done and can be easily upgraded if it becomes outdated or faulty, please just go for a hardwired cctv system. you can get them fairly cheap these days for a 4 channel NVR and 4 cameras each corner of the house really. These cabled systems are much more reliable, provide 24/7 recording or even set up for motion, instrusion zones, trip wires etc. Some even have fancy alarms that go off when someone comes near them at night 😂 All you would have to do is just give them a bit of a wipe down every couple months to keep the lens clean. Also one thing i dont like about these kinds of cameras is they arent very vandal proof. Most cctv cameras are pretty tough these days. Ive seen them lit on fire, literally FULL of water inside, withstand a cyclone, backed into by trucks and just hanging there and they have continued to record and provide days and days of playback. Just my take on this as a guy who does it for a living 🙂 but if you just want something easy to install DIY and very budget friendly.. these eufy cameras are great 😃👍
