I Tested the Most Hyped Car Battery Chargers – One Stood Out!

This man’s garage sales must be crazy.

I had a Battery Tender brand charger that I connected to my ATV's battery and after four years and eleven months of service it quit working. I called the number on the package it came with and inquired if they would honor the five year warranty. They sent a prepaid address label. To make this quick it was less than a week from the time I sent the old one in until the new one arrived! There was a note in the box saying the new one was under warranty for the next five years! That was more than ten years ago and it is still working.

As someone who purchased the Noco Genius 5 several month ago, this test is reassuring.

I would love to see a comparison of how well those chargers with desulfation can actually successfully restore an aged battery. So many devices claim to be able to do it, but very few actually have any meaningful effect on older batteries.

My brother is a master technician and recommended the Noco XL for my 2019 Honda Civic. It was on sale for black Friday so I bought one. 3 weeks ago my 6yo battery died. The Noco started the car up with no problems. I was able to jumpstart myself so I could go into town to buy a new battery. As a woman this is the best thing man invented!!!
