My expectations: A-train actually growing some balls and standing up for something that actually matters. Reality: Still the same kiss-ass for assholes working for Vought and screws the lives of the people who actually cares about him.

A-Train deserves all the pain he feels. I only wish his brother and the other people hadn't been hurt. Bringing a supe known to be racist and making a Vought media circus out of it? What could go wrong. Although showing how scary supes can be when they freak out on normals was good.

We haven't seen how terrible Soldier Boy can be just yet (something tells me we'll find out when we learn what he did to MM's family). But at this point, Jensen's so charismatic, it's hard to hate him. So looking forward to seeing Homelander, Butcher, and Soldier Boy all finally meeting. And kudos to Laurie Holden! We may not see Crimson Countess again, but in her last scene she managed to bring some depth to the character. And you kinda feel sorry for CC if it turns out she was a victim of Soldier Boy just as Maeve and now Starlight are victims of Homelander.

In the comics the legend was a parody of stan lee and jack kirby but since the series takes place in current times they changed him to be a parody of someone like a Kevin feige.

Homelander vs Soldier Boy is going to be epic I'd like to imagine Homelander losing his powers then running away ridiculously from the boys

That parallel between Homelander and Soldier Boy is interesting in that they look to have genuine relationships but are isolated and led on because of the power they possess and people being too afraid to tell them the truth. Also, I don't understand how Starlight can try to go to Ashley for help and reassure her that she'll be okay after Supersonic just recently got done in by Homelander; I think Ashley was giving in until she heard Starlight question whether or not Meave was even still alive.

The scene of A-train watching Bluehawk get away with what he did to his brother on the news was oddly satisfying. Now he knows how it feels to watch someone get away with hurting the people you care about and continue to be praised after their crimes. Even if he still doesn't learn after this I'm glad he now sees what it's like to be the other guy, on the receiving end of suffering.

1. (17:30-17:51) Same, boys. Same. 2. The fact that a show like The Boys got away with doing a musical number speaks volumes to how incredible this show is.

My dislike and discontent of A-Train since season 1 feels justified with this latest episode. On the other hand Mother’s Milk and Kimiko are still my favorites for season 3.
