THAT BRAIN DINNER SCENE!! Hannibal Full Reaction Watch Along: https://www.patreon.com/thereelrejects - Visit https://huel.com/rejects to get 15% off your order Now that they've seen The Silence of the Lambs, Roxy & Andrew RETURN for the sequel to give their Hannibal Reaction, Recap, Commentary, Analysis & Full Movie Spoiler Review!! Roxy Striar & Andrew Gordon sink their teeth into Hannibal (2001), the intense horror thriller and sequel to The Silence of the Lambs, directed by Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Alien) and based on the novel by Thomas Harris. Anthony Hopkins reprises his Oscar-winning role as the brilliant yet monstrous Dr. Hannibal Lecter, while Julianne Moore (Boogie Nights, Still Alice) steps into the shoes of FBI Agent Clarice Starling, now hardened and disgraced after a botched drug raid. The story picks up a decade after Lecter's escape, as Clarice is drawn back into his orbit when a disfigured, vengeful billionaire named Mason Verger—played hauntingly by Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy)—plots to lure and kill Lecter as revenge for a past encounter. Ray Liotta (Goodfellas, Narc) appears as Justice Department official Paul Krendler, whose grotesque fate in one of the film’s most infamous and highly searched scenes—the brain dinner sequence—remains a shocking highlight. Set across Florence, Italy, and the U.S., the film explores dark themes of obsession, power, and retribution, backed by a haunting score from Hans Zimmer and lush, eerie cinematography. With its stylish violence, operatic tone, and controversial finale, Hannibal pushed the boundaries of the franchise and left audiences divided and disturbed. Roxy & Andrew dive into its most iconic moments, character dynamics, and legacy as one of the most polarizing sequels in horror history. #Hannibal #AnthonyHopkins #JulianneMoore #GaryOldman #RayLiotta #HorrorMovies #HannibalLecter #ClariceStarling #RidleyScott #HorrorReaction #MovieReview #BrainScene #ThrillerMovies #ThomasHarris #SilenceOfTheLambs #HannibalSequel #CrimeThriller #HorrorMovieReactions #FBI #CannibalMovies #RoxyStriar #AndrewGordon #HorrorIconFull Reaction Watch Along: https://www.patreon.com/thereelrejects The Silence of the Lambs (1991) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/bzWnbYuej9I 28 Days Later (2002) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/6Z2zls97Y6c / https://youtu.be/dlfEo1Cl1pY The Devil's Advocate (1997) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/BHIPh63H4yY The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/6WpEjTdV9zw Wrong Turn (2003) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/_U7k71nT_Lk 0:00 Checking In! 03:39 Hannibal Reaction 30:51 HUEL! 32:36 Hannibal Movie Reaction 01:07:14 Patron Q&A + Hannibal Movie Review Follow Roxy Striar: Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@TheWhirlGirls Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/roxystriar/?hl=en Twitter: https://twitter.com/roxystriar Follow Andrew Gordon On Socials: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@MovieSource Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/agor711/?hl=en Twitter: https://twitter.com/Agor711 Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Support The Channel By Getting Some REEL REJECTS Aparrel! https://www.rejectnationshop.com/ RR Clips & Shorts Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ReelRejectsClips Follow TheReelRejects On The Socials: IG: https://www.instagram.com/reelrejects/ TT: https://www.tiktok.com/@thereelrejects?lang=en TWITTER: https://twitter.com/thereelrejects FB: https://www.facebook.com/TheReelRejects/ Music Used In Ad: Hat the Jazz by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Happy Alley by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Head Editor: https://www.instagram.com/praperhq/?hl=en Supervising Producer: https://twitter.com/nerdchronic?lang=en Co-Editor: Greg Alba Co-Editor: John Humphrey Music In Video: Airport Lounge - Disco Ultralounge by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Follow & Listen to Us Wherever You Get Your Podcasts!! - Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3XHMwbveiznxSOGxN9XT0M - Google Podcasts: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5tZWdhcGhvbmUuZm0vc3Rhci13YXJzLXRhbGs - Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-reel-rejects-tv-movie-recaps/id1616339990 - Audible: https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Apocalypse-Podcast/B08JJP58FG Follow GREG On INSTAGRAM & TWITTER: INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/thegregalba/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/thegregalba PLAYLISTS: Sketches & Short Films: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw_zWuTRfBOUP3aYyIYRzc2y

You definitely need to do the Hannibal series! What an astounding show with some of the most beautifully, haunting visuals ever put on TV. Amazing acting, a superb cast, and plot twists that keep the story fresh, but still familiar. I cannot recommend the show enough.

Fun fact in the novel Hannibal and Clarice run away together at the end. The book finishes with them watching an opera.

Julianne Moore doesn't get enough credit for taking on the role of Clarice Starling, she took this role like a pro and brought it to life really well. Plus she has great chemistry with the irreplaceable Sir Anthony Hopkins

"No I prefer you much the way you are" is a great line, cuz with his disfigurement Verger now looks like the monster that he is inside which was Lecter's intention

The banner saying “All footage from Scooby Doo 2 Monsters Unleashed is from a family/comedy movie.” Ahead of them watching Hannibal is sending me. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Anthony Hopkins said that as much as he loved playing Hannibal Lecter, he didn’t like him as much in this movie because he prefers Hannibal in prison because he’s much more terrifying when he’s confined.
