Roxy Striar and Greg Alba dive into the chilling mystery of The Autopsy of Jane Doe, a horror film that blends psychological terror with supernatural suspense. Directed by André Øvredal (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Trollhunter), this eerie thriller follows father-son coroners as they uncover the dark secrets hidden within the body of an unidentified woman. This reaction covers the film’s most terrifying and shocking moments, including the unsettling toe bell scene, the gruesome skin peeling autopsy revelations, the radio static eerily predicting doom, and the terrifying corpse coming to life sequence. As the mystery deepens, the realization that Jane Doe isn’t just a victim—but something far more sinister—creates an atmosphere of dread that lingers long after the credits roll. The film’s claustrophobic setting, disturbing discoveries, and haunting atmosphere make it one of the most underrated supernatural horror movies in recent years. Main Cast & Characters: Brian Cox as Tommy Tilden (Succession, X2: X-Men United), Emile Hirsch as Austin Tilden (Into the Wild, Speed Racer), Olwen Catherine Kelly as Jane Doe (Winter Ridge), Ophelia Lovibond as Emma (Guardians of the Galaxy, Minx), Michael McElhatton as Sheriff Burke (Game of Thrones, The Foreigner). If you’re looking for more psychological horror in the same vein as The Autopsy of Jane Doe, here are some recommendations: Hereditary (2018), The Witch (2015), The Others (2001), The Conjuring (2013), The Ring (2002), and Oculus (2013). #AutopsyOfJaneDoe #HorrorMovies #MovieReaction #FirstTimeWatching #ScaryMovies #SupernaturalHorror #BrianCox #EmileHirsch #AndréØvredal #HorrorReaction #JumpScares #CreepyMovies #PsychologicalHorror #TerrifyingMovies #HorrorReview #HauntedHorror #GregAlba #RoxyStriar #ScaryMovieReaction #MovieBreakdown #react #reaction #reacting #moviereaction #movie #firsttimewatchingmoviereaction #firsttimewatch #firsttimewatching Daredevil Born Again Episode 3 Reaction: https://youtu.be/iVk0faFzHhM Companion Movie Reacton: https://youtu.be/Ab1d72ym47w The Substance Reaction: https://youtu.be/CBAkleBZcmA Terrifier 3 Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/KUWRhu-oLLc Longlegs Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/cDdayu4z9gg Follow Roxy Striar: Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@TheWhirlGirls Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/roxystriar/?hl=en Twitter: https://twitter.com/roxystriar 0:00 Leave a LIKE! 0:57 The Autopsy of Jane Doe Reaction 29:35 HUEL 31:20 Autopsy of Jane Doe Reaction 47:38 The Autopsy of Jane Doe Review Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Support The Channel By Getting Some REEL REJECTS Aparrel! https://www.rejectnationshop.com/ Follow TheReelRejects On The Socials: IG: https://www.instagram.com/reelrejects/ TT: https://www.tiktok.com/@thereelrejects?lang=en TWITTER: https://twitter.com/thereelrejects FB: https://www.facebook.com/TheReelRejects/ Music Used In Ad: Hat the Jazz by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Happy Alley by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ POWERED BY @GFUEL Visit https://gfuel.ly/3wD5Ygo and use code REJECTNATION for 20% off select tubs!! The girlfriend was able to come inside because the storm never happened actually, the radio in the mortuary at the end gives that away. The witch was making them experience things that weren’t actually happening. Such a hidden gem.

At the end she killed the son because by helping the father die it stopped her from completing what she was doing . So basically the father went back on the deal, so she did as well.

Actually, the girlfriend dying is key to the plot. At the beginning of the movie when they find all the bodies at the house, they mention that there wasn't any sign of forced entry, but it seems like they were trying to escape. The witch doesn't kill, she manipulates the people that's around here body into seeing and hearing things that aren't actually there and they wind up killing each other, so the dad thinking he's attacking a corpse but in reality, he accidently killed his son's girlfriend is to try to show the audience what happened to the people at the beginning of the movie. It also makes you question how often this has happened already and the ending makes you feel like there's no end to it, which is a creepy feeling lol.

It's such a brilliant supernatural murder mystery, but it KILLS me what happens to the son and his dad. They were literally just doing their jobs 😭😭😭 I wonder if the witch also killed the son because he didn't quite let the "ritual" finish when her wounds were transferring to the father, so as far as she was concerned the ritual failed and the deal was null and void.

As a daughter of a funeral director, yes. Some of the business is either a part of the house or close to it. My childhood was running around the Home while my dad work. I wasn’t allowed in the back room when they had a body

In Victorian times people were so afraid of being buried alive they would tie a piece of string to a body's finger and run the string up through a hole in the coffin to the base of the headstone, where it would be attached to a bell. Even creepier, they had guards patrol the cemeteries every night listening for the bell. Can you imagine how horrifying it would be to be patrolling a graveyard in the middle of the night and hear that bell in the distance?

I'd always heard of this movie and decided it would a GREAT idea to watch it by myself at 1 in the morning. As a grown-ish woman....I think I was in around 28 I am NOT ashamed to say I slept with the lighfs on afer watching this. Going down the hall and anywhere else that evening, the lights were ON. This movie is spooky ooky in the best way. That actress though, having to lay there, props to her.

The way I see it is she was going to let the son live but the dad begged his son to kill him to end the pain but she wasn’t finished showing him the pain and because he broke the deal she killed the son

I'm at 23 minutes in, about the flower, they mention that you can be paralyzed by it but that does not mean that you're dead you just don't feel a thing, but you're still alive.
