BEFORE ZOOTOPIA 2!! Zootopia Full Movie Reaction Watch Along: https://www.patreon.com/thereelrejects Zootopia Reaction, Recap, Commentary, Analysis, & Spoiler Review! Greg Alba & Tara Erickson dive into Disney’s Zootopia (2016), the hilarious, heartfelt, surprisingly mature animated adventure starring Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Chief Bogo, Bellwether, Mayor Lionheart, Flash, Clawhauser, Yax, and the entire ZPD squad. We break down all the iconic scenes — the DMV sloth sequence with Flash, Judy & Nick’s first meeting, Mr. Big’s “ice-’em” moment, the Night Howlers twist, the Gazelle concert, the train chase, the cliff fight, and the emotional “Try Everything” finale. We also revisit the most popular quotes (“It’s called a hustle, sweetheart,” “Let it go,” “We are in a really big hurry!”) and the deeper themes about prejudice, stereotypes, identity, ambition, fear, and community that made Zootopia one of Disney’s smartest films ever. With Zootopia 2 releasing THIS WEEK, we compare world-building, character arcs, the return of Judy & Nick, the new mystery storyline, and what Disney has confirmed for the sequel. Expect full commentary, fun tangents, Easter-egg breakdowns, analysis of Michael Giacchino’s score, and a whole lot of love for this universe. #Zootopia #Zootopia2 #ZootopiaReaction #Disney #DisneyAnimation #JudyHopps #NickWilde #MovieReaction #FirstTimeWatching #AnimatedMovie #AnimationReaction #TryEverything #SlothDMV #ZPD #DisneyMovie #Reaction #animationreaction #animation #animated #animals #animal - The Wild Robot Reaction https://youtu.be/f7rp-iDHBGc - Frozen 2 Reaction: https://youtu.be/PBqQPPI3oik - Frozen Reaction https://youtu.be/vEIJ6T3i0Js - KPop Demon Hunters (2025) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/MB30DdNaqLA Follow *Tara Erickson* on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@TaraErickson Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/taraerickson/ twitter: https://twitter.com/thetaraerickson 0:00 Checking In! 1:20 Zootopia Reaction 1:07:49 Zootopia Review Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Support The Channel By Getting Some REEL REJECTS Aparrel! https://www.rejectnationshop.com/ RR Clips & Shorts Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ReelRejectsClips Follow TheReelRejects On The Socials: IG: https://www.instagram.com/reelrejects/ TT: https://www.tiktok.com/@thereelrejects?lang=en TWITTER: https://twitter.com/thereelrejects FB: https://www.facebook.com/TheReelRejects/ Music Used In Ad: Hat the Jazz by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Happy Alley by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Head Editor: https://www.instagram.com/praperhq/?hl=en Supervising Producer: https://twitter.com/nerdchronic?lang=en Co-Editor: Greg Alba Co-Editor: John Humphrey Music In Video: Airport Lounge - Disco Ultralounge by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Follow & Listen to Us Wherever You Get Your Podcasts!! - Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3XHMwbveiznxSOGxN9XT0M - Google Podcasts: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5tZWdhcGhvbmUuZm0vc3Rhci13YXJzLXRhbGs - Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-reel-rejects-tv-movie-recaps/id1616339990 - Audible: https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Apocalypse-Podcast/B08JJP58FG Ask Us A QUESTION On CAMEO: https://www.cameo.com/thereelrejects Follow GREG On INSTAGRAM & TWITTER: INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/thegregalba/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/thegregalba PLAYLISTS: Trailer Reactions & Reviews: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw9ZsLdoAQFpx38s2hhyFgDe Movie Reviews: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw-comtadVs8b9JsZEWHUyr8 Movie Talk (News, Spoiler Reviews, & Film Rumors!!!): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw8fPQ-21NVSb2IOwIiHbVt8 Youtube Video Reactions & Discussions: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw_qwcPsN_vOxXC6IVzrOQYG Sketches & Short Films: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw_zWuTRfBOUP3aYyIYRzc2y

Whoever decided that the DMV would be run by sloths deserves a raise. Best joke in the whole movie.😂

I like the scene when Gideon comes with the pies and talks to Judy. You can tell from the way he talks that he's been in therapy and the fact that he's now a kind of business partner to Judy's parents shows how it's possible to grow beyond your own world of thoughts. Just a small but noticeable redemptionarc for him.

The way Nick said, "Oh there's a 'them' now?", that cut pretty deep. The film's message is handled well, Judy and Nick make a great team and have great comedic timing, and Mr. Big and the DMV sloths are both hilarious.

May be in the minority, but I'm actually on Chief Bogos side. It was literally Judy's FIRST DAY on the force, so of course you put her on the beginner job. You don't just get on a big investigation case on your first day. You have to build up your reputation and prove yourself in the field. To Bogo, Judy was a brand new, untested in the field, hot shot recruit fresh from the academy. And the next day she was insubordinate and caused a huge commotion. I say he was in the right. Just good thing she did happen to be a good cop and prove herself in the end.

The moment you realize this movie is about a cop with a conman best friend and mob connections bringing down a drug cartel.

The Mr. Big sequence is so good. That shrew is a great character. I love the callbacks to mob movies and the literal interpretation of "ice 'em" is hilarious.

Fun Fact: The voice actress for Judy and the voice actor for the pig that got robbed are married. They first met on a show called One Upon A Time, where they played the main characters, Snow White and Prince Charming.

Didn't realize it until just now, during the press conference one of the reporters asking questions was a sheep, and he is the one who asked if it was only predators that were going savage, creating the narrative. The way the press does. It could have been part of the plan. Plus, it might have been the same voice actor as unfriendly Doug, so possibly the same character?.......
