In Last Rites, the Warrens come out of retirement to investigate the horrifying case of the Smurl family in Pennsylvania—a haunting that pushes them to their limits, both professionally and emotionally. Mia Tomlinson joins the cast as the adult Judy Warren, whose evolving psychic powers play a major role in the conflict. Ben Hardy appears as Tony Spera, Judy’s partner and eventual ally in facing the supernatural threat. Meanwhile, Rebecca Calder and Elliot Cowan portray Janet and Jack Smurl, the couple whose home becomes the battleground for malevolent forces. Some of the most talked-about, chilling scenes include the mirror’s sinister presence, manifestations of ghostly entities within the Smurl home, intense confrontations with demonic forces, and Lorraine’s psychic visions that test the limits of her strength.
