Picking up after the fallout from Fisk’s escalating grip on the city, Matt Murdock / Daredevil (Charlie Cox — Stardust, Boardwalk Empire) is forced into one of his toughest moral dilemmas yet as Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll — True Blood, Escape Room) becomes the center of a high-profile trial orchestrated by Wilson Fisk / Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio — Full Metal Jacket, Law & Order: Criminal Intent). The episode delivers a standout courtroom sequence where Matt steps in as co-counsel, challenging the Anti-Vigilante Task Force and exposing the corruption behind Fisk’s regime in front of a public audience. Meanwhile, the tension outside the courtroom is just as intense. The episode features a gripping web of alliances and betrayals involving characters like Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter / Bullseye (Wilson Bethel — Hart of Dixie, All Rise), whose looming presence adds unpredictability, and a conflicted insider torn between loyalty and doing the right thing—leading to one of the episode’s most emotional arcs and shocking outcomes. A violent ambush sequence and last-minute intervention escalate the stakes, reminding us just how dangerous Fisk’s world has become. The episode also leans heavily into psychological warfare, with intense interrogation scenes and mind games that dig deep into Karen’s past and relationships, as well as Fisk’s increasingly unstable mindset as his power begins to slip. With themes of justice, identity, and sacrifice colliding, Episode 7 sets the stage for a massive endgame as the battle for New York reaches a boiling point. #Daredevil #DaredevilReaction #Marvel #Kingpin #Bullseye #KarenPage #JessicaJones #MarvelTV #MCU #tvreactions #DisneyPlus #React #ReactTo #Reaction #ReelRejects #SpiderMan #Punisher Follow *Greg Alba* https://www.instagram.com/thegregalba/ https://twitter.com/thegregalba Follow *Coy Jandreau* https://www.youtube.com/@CoyJandreau https://www.tiktok.com/@coyjandreau?lang=en https://www.instagram.com/coyjandreau/?hl=en https://twitter.com/CoyJandreau Follow *Aaron Alexander* https://www.instagram.com/therealaaronalexander/?hl=en Follow *Andrew Gordon* https://www.youtube.com/@MovieSource https://www.instagram.com/agor711/?hl=en https://twitter.com/Agor711 0:00 Checking In! 0:58 Daredevil: Born Again Reaction 21:33 KALSHI 23:15 Daredevil: Born Again Review Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ RR Clips & Shorts Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ReelRejectsClips Follow TheReelRejects On The Socials: IG: https://www.instagram.com/reelrejects/ TT: https://www.tiktok.com/@thereelrejects?lang=en TWITTER: https://twitter.com/thereelrejects FB: https://www.facebook.com/TheReelRejects/ Music Used In Ad: Hat the Jazz by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Happy Alley by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Head Editor: https://www.instagram.com/prapermedia Supervising Producer: https://twitter.com/nerdchronic?lang=en Co-Editor: Greg Alba Co-Editor: John Humphrey Music In Video: Airport Lounge - Disco Ultralounge by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Follow & Listen to Us Wherever You Get Your Podcasts!! - Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3XHMwbveiznxSOGxN9XT0M - Google Podcasts: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5tZWdhcGhvbmUuZm0vc3Rhci13YXJzLXRhbGs - Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-reel-rejects-tv-movie-recaps/id1616339990 - Audible: https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Apocalypse-Podcast/B08JJP58FG PLAYLISTS: Trailer Reactions & Reviews: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw9ZsLdoAQFpx38s2hhyFgDe Movie Talk (News, Spoiler Reviews, & Film Rumors!!!): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bIhJVeYWw8fPQ-21NVSb2IOwIiHbVt8

Michael Gandolfini was absolutely amazing in this episode. It really sucks that Daniel was killed, but he truly redeemed himself in the end. But I really loved was how even after he was beaten, he planted the seed of doubt in Buck’s mind. And I hope that this role paves the way for Michael to have just as great if not better roles in the future for him.

Rip Daniel.😢 One of the most realistic characters in this show. That is why that felt so bad because he is just realistic young man who got too deep in this shit, who just visited his mom and in the end wanted to do the right thing. That is what make this so sad that young people lose their life because these broken f*ked up people's ego driven bullshit. Like in real life😞

Daniel died the day after his birthday. After he met with his mom.

So after reading interviews about this episode, the backstory of this decision to kill off Daniel is INSANE. Michael Gandolfini, Arty Froushan (Buck), and Dario Scardapane (the showrunner) explain what happened (lengthy comment following below): - Michael felt from Season 1 that Daniel had to be doomed, since he felt that Daniel was just digging himself in deeper holes and wasn't actually aware of how sinister his environment was. So he felt at least deep down that Daniel always had to die. - Here's the interesting part: Daniel wasn't originally supposed to die. They had Buck give in to his affection for Daniel and spare him, just telling him to run away and then lying to Fisk that he killed him. Michael actually shot scenes for the finale. But Michael said that part of him felt wrong about Daniel surviving. - After filming, and during editing of the season, Dario Scardapane realized that the decision to keep Daniel alive (and his scenes in the finale) just felt wrong and unearned, and he and the writers realized they needed to kill him off to stay true to both Daniel and Buck's characters. Dario calls Michael, and based off of his interview, he said, "Dude, I've got the worst news." Before he can even say what the news is, Michael replies, "I know exactly what you're gonna say, and it's the right choice". Michael had the same instincts about what Daniel's fate should be. - What is even more wild to me is how they changed it. They didn't reshoot it, they just CGI'd Buck shooting Daniel, using material that was supposed to be Buck just lowering his gun without firing and leaving Daniel alive. Watching the scene back, you can infer from the editing how they cut his extra dialogue out. When Arty Froushan found out that they made the change, he was devastated. Just goes to show how close Arty and Michael were (TL;DR: Daniel wasn't supposed to die originally, they just CGI'd Buck shooting him while editing the season) Holy crap. I agree this was the more sensible decision, and it's only fitting for the franchise that's already killed off so many likable characters, but wow.

I was so worried Buck was going to let him live. It would go against everything that his character has established. But I do love that there is now doubt in Buck's mind.
