Paths converge as the Ghor gather at the town square in peaceful protest, only for the empire to open fire leading to an open slaughter.. in one of the show's most intense sequences, Andor comes face-to-face with Cyril leading to a desperate confrontation resulting in Cyril's untimely demise... as unrest grows & allies wane, Mon Mothma is left to appeal to the galactic council, giving her famous & rousing speech (first glimpsed in Star Wars: Rebels). Staking her allegiance firmly against the Empire, Mon is forced to turn to Andor for safe passage from the now hostile & inhospitable imperal lions' den... Season 2 assembles a powerhouse cast as Cassian Andor (Diego Luna, known for Rogue One and Narcos) deepens his role in the Rebel Alliance. By his side is Bix Caleen (Adria Arjona, celebrated for Triple Frontier and Good Omens) and the ever‑determined Syril Karn (Kyle Soller, from Poldark and Doll & Em). Denise Gough returns as Dedra Meero (Seven Seconds, How to Get Away with Murder), while Genevieve O’Reilly reprises Mon Mothma (Rogue One, Obi‑Wan Kenobi) with her trademark resolve. Guiding the clandestine network is Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Chernobyl), and the irrepressible droid K‑2SO (Alan Tudyk - Firefly, Rogue One) also returns. Ben Mendelsohn appears once again as Director Krennic (Rogue One, Bloodline), & Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings, Planet of the Apes) is rumored to return as Kino Loy.
