A perfect example is civil war, in the comics Goliath died but in the movie War Machine's back was severely injured so my guess is that Kang is going to break Scott in every possible way leading to the formation of Young Avengers
Or another theory is antman defeats kang and kills him. Post credit scene is a new kang showing up. I can see that for future films as well for the other heroes. All defeated kang until they realize there’s an infinite amount of him
I'm thinking that Scott gets severely injured, Hank wears the suit and attempts to take out or reason with Kang and he ends up dying. That way you have a fairly big characters death, the reason for the damaged suit and a reason for Cass to suit up. Cass may even have thought it was her father dying.
Kevin Fiege also mentions that antman 3 will change the MCU forever.
I would actually be shocked if Scott dies in this film. I don't think it's going to happen but it will set the tone and show Kang isn't someone to play with. Hank is definitely dying for sure. Need some death in this trilogy. Most likely the king of the city will probably die as well. I think Scott won't be able to escape the Quantum Realm again after his confrontation with Kang.
At first i was doubtful about Scott’s death but when he said his death is the catalyst for the young avengers and mentions Cassie lang it straight up gave me goosebumps
He ain’t dying, kang will very likely kick his ass but he won’t die
That moment with Greg and John learn who the first villain of Young Avengers was. So great!
People forget that Kang isn’t the only one with variants he’s just the only one who’s mastered the ability to travel so far and I think this film could explore the idea of the Ant-Man team learning and that poses a threat to Kang
