It was so nice to finally meet you guys in person last night! The movie was good but I do agree the first one is better. I can’t wait to see what they do with these characters in the future
I watched it today and I thought it was an entertaining movie. It has a lot of heart and it didn't really set up a bazillion things for sequels. I really hope they keep this cast in the future because I think they mash really well together. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having an amazing time at the theatre and my expectations were really low for this one 😃! Glad to be surprised by how good it was.
I am very curious to see how well this movie will do at the box office

In JLU I remember during the season 2 finale where the JLU realize that the world is always going to be threatened by outside forces and the scene when Superman realizes that we need to setup a ground base with rotating stuff of JL members to monitor threats on a regular basis would help make the world safer. I think maybe the DCEU is missing that where it doesn't have a leader, create a threat response division a way to prevent any kind of attacks whether it's earth based or outside based.
One of my favorite elements of the first Shazam was how close and faithful it was to Tom Hank’s Big.

The movie was unexpectedly good. I had some laughs, I had some wow moments, I had some teary eyes. I enjoyed it more than any comic movie since spiderman nwh.
