I think the whole point of The Conjuring films are to explore the question "what if the Warrens were right?" rather than trying to convince the audience that "the Warrens were absolutely right about everything and this is how it all played out". I'm able to completely separate the real life Warrens from the fictional Warrens in my head because the films are over-the-top in a way that feels purposeful. Ultimately, I see the films as using actual events as inspiration to craft horror movies merely for entertainment purposes.
This is why wanda heard her kids screaming for her. THEY WERE IN THE CONJURING UNIVERSE SHITTING THEIR PANTS
My favorite part of this movie is “we’ll introduce you to Annabelle” and then immediately cuts to the lawyer looking petrified 😂
Vera Farmiga and Patrick wilson OWN the roles of ed and lorraine warren!
The creepiest moment to me was those fingers with the shower curtain. I love these films, this one not as much as the other two especially the first. I definitely missed James Wan's magic touch. It was definitely still good though, massive improvement from the director's last attempt that's for sure. I enjoyed the way they generally kept up Wan's visual language from the first two.
I was waiting for Patrick Wilson to put on the Nite owl costume and beat the demons out of Arnie at some point 🤣
I loved the movie. There is creepyness, scares, and uneasiness. I loved this one better than the second, but the first one is my favorite above all. Edit: after rewatching the second movie I realize that I love it better than the third. Loved them all though :)

I didn't think this one was scary at all, but I still came out of the cinema happy. If anything, the three conjuring films actually built up decent characters and I actually had a little tear when she revealed she'd put a pill in her necklace for him. Like that's real love. I totally distance the characters from the real life version of the Warrens in my mind, and I love these characters. Vera and Patrick have fantastic and believable chemistry
The cinematography and editing was so aesthetically pleasing, really enjoyed this one
