Christopher Reeve will always be Superman
Even tho I'm a diehard Marvel fan I'll have to say there's only one Man Of Steel and that's Christopher Reeve he channeled the character perfectly and he looked like Superman from the comics he was the one who made everyone believe that a man could fly there won't be anyone like him he will always be Superman when I was a kid I watched Christopher Reeve and that movie was the first superhero movie that got me interested in superhero's. Henry Cavill's Superman didn't feel like Superman and his movie put me to sleep, Brandon Routh's Superman was basically trying to copy Reeve's movie and that didn't work at all so with that being said Christopher Reeve is Superman he's the one that made comic book movies seriously. Christopher Reeve is Superman even when he was injured he had the strength of Superman.

I watched Superman yesterday. I grew up in the 80's wth Christopher Reeves as Superman. So He will always be "my Superman". David Corenswet is the first iteration of Superman/Clark Kent that for me has matched Christopher Reeves.
David Corenswet is definitely my new favourite. He really embodies the character that I have loved in the comics for all these years!

A HUGE chunk of my young childhood is wrapped up in Reeve as Superman. I had all four recorded off TV on VHS and wore out the damn tapes as a kid. I am very aware of my bias because of that. That being said, no one has come even remotely close until David Corenswet. His protrayal - and Gunn's writing - are so earnest and authentic. I am so thrilled we have a truly inspirational superhero in cinema again.
