4:40 I was born in the 1950's and all you saw on television was "COWBOYS AS HEROS" and the INDIANS were portrayed as bad. I am half Blackfoot Indian and half African American and as a young child, I thought that it was gospel. When I got older, I found out that all of these people that were cowboys in the movies had associations with "THE KU KLUX KLAN"! Such as: JOHN WAYNE, FRED McMURRY and a host of others. I’m an old white grandpa here in Pensacola, and I applaud you on this very important true history of Texas. I lived in Texas when I was a kid, and i remember studying Texas “ history” where the Alamo and the battle of San Jacinto were taught. No where was the slavery issue taught in grade school.
