Wow….we are so mesmerized and brainwashed when it comes to labels, it is sickening

This brother was spot on! I own a service business, and I consistently strive to collaborate with other Black businesses to work together on projects. I have run into some black businesses that will either nickel and dime me or tell me I charge too much. My services are at the going rate of other businesses in my industry, and sometimes cost less because I go the extra mile! Or, they will go and choose a white business to serve them. I keep moving forward and remember what my grandmother used to say, "You can't tell people how to spend their money." With that being said, I patronize other black businesses. I believe the Black Dollar needs to stay in our community for more than a day!

When he made the comment about Pharrell, I Thought: while we as consumers should be supporting these black businesses, it’d be great for one or two celebrities to step up and offer them a promo to boost their sales - for the culture! Like many celebs go on game shows and play to give their winnings to a charity. Or just occasionally wear the brands

Actively black is the best clothing I've ever bought in my life. Getting it from their old suppliers has made it that the cotton's way better the shirts, the pants, everything breathes. It's amazing. That's why everybody's mad cuz a black bunch of black people made an amazing product again
