I love that Stephanie is interviewing survivors and giving them a chance to get their story out there so others know they aren’t alone
Every adult in this woman's life literally failed her. So many things to take from this. I'm proud of this woman because the strength it must've taken to tell this story.
I can't believe the sisters still blame her. "You should have fought harder." She was 8 when it started. Doesn't sound like a fair fight to me.
She had no example of how to be a good parent and yet is such a great mother herself. Every adult in her life failed her yet she protected her kids when she herself was so young and hurt.
Your Mom, Your Dad, and His Girlfriends and Everyone who Harmed you NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND BROUGHT TO JUSTICE.
The father is a textbook definition of a Cult Leader.
This video encouraged me to write a letter to my mother to finally tell her that how she handled my rape was inappropriate and fucked me up. Thank you Aziza Kibibi and thank you Rotten Mango.
I think what struck me the most about Aziza is how soft, and sweet, and gentle, and kind she comes across. She has endured unimaginable pain, suffering, torment, torture, violence, manipulation, neglect, betrayal and so much negativity. And yet she doesn't seem like she is full of anger or resentment. She is such an incredible woman. She is so strong.
