Last story: A sari is *literally* just clothes. If the garment was like, something deeply religious or tied to a religious practise there *might* be an argument for it. But like, in this case, it's literally JUST clothes. Yes, it's clothing from India, but it's *clothes*. Like, everyday wear. Or at least slightly formal wear depending (I'm sure there's a whole variety of saris depending on the situation, just like how we have dresses that run the gamut from 'summer/sun dress' to 'cocktail dress' to 'wedding dress'.

Last story: People trying to police culture always bothers me, especially when it's not their culture. A couple of examples I've seen of this were a white guy dressed up in a sombrero and poncho to see how people would react, Latino people loved it while people who weren't Latino criticized him. Why do the non-Latino's feel they get more say about Latino culture? Another example was a news story much like the example rSlash gave, it was a white man that spoke broken english with a chinese accent so everyone thought he was racist, turns out he was born in China, Mandarin was his first language and he didn't learn engish until later in life. People try to fit people into boxes be it by look, behavior or culture and I find that truly messed up. Instead of a melting pot it's more like a centrifuge.

Story 1: Hang on so she knew she was pregnant for _two months_ but only thought of aborting it _after_ finding out that Op knew who that dad was?????
