I have listened to every single meateater podcast over the last 3 years or so...you can never get sick of listening to Steve. His storytelling, random bits of interesting info, hunting, history. He is a unbelievable spokesperson for the outdoor community.
I'm a simple man, I see Steven Rinella on a podcast, I watch.
Lifelong fan of Steve. Great choice and thank you for having him.
I love that Steven is finally getting his flowers for all the amazing stuff he has done from his writing and shows to his wildlife conservation efforts.
Great interview. My work caused me to miss a lot of time with my sons in the early years. They are both over 50 now but I sat them down 20 years ago and apologized for missing that time with them. They both told me that they never really were bothered by it because the time I did spend with them was quality time. I taught them to hunt and fish, play baseball, and be a protector when the time came. I am very proud of the men they have become. Spend as much time with your children as you can. You will not regret it.
The hunting community is so blessed to have Steve at the forefront and fighting for us
i feel like steve rinella knows more about hunting and wildlife than any one person knows about any subject in the world

I am a 51 yr old stay at home mother of 3. For the past 8 yrs, we have lived in a big city after having spent almost 20 yrs in Colorado. As a way to get my nature fix, I watch Meat Eater videos. I started watching the show with my husband during the first season, and we have watched every season since, as well as the full array of YouTube videos on the channel. To know me, you probably wouldn't guess I watch hunting videos for fun. But, here we are. Meat Eater is a great show with broad appeal. It makes me want to learn to hunt as a middle aged woman with a strong spirit of adventure, and a strong desire to eat clean.
I’m from the same town in MT as Steve. When he first started the Meat Eater show, I gotta admit I was kinda pissed. I’m kinda guarded about hunting in MT. I love the outdoors and hunting in my state, and it’s hard to share that with others. And that was what his show was about, showing all these people on social media what it’s all about. I’ve changed now, he’s truly an ambassador for the hunting community. Funny story, one morning at a trail head at about 3:30 a.m. My son and me were getting our shit together to start hiking into the backcountry to hunt. Steve and his buddy pull up next to us, and my son gets all excited. I have a lot of respect for him, he’s a legit dude, gets after it.
