Actually the sea monster was Cetus. The Kraken was from Norse myth and was substituted for Cetus in Clash of the Titans. The Kraken btw was a giant octopus in Norse myth.

I saw Neil DeGrasse Tyson while he was in Texas this past month, and I can now die in peace. I hate that I had to leave early, but I had to pick up my son, who had to listen to me go on an hour-long rant on how I saw NEIL DEGRASSE FRIGGIN TYSON!!!! He was not amused. 😂😂😂Youre the man, Neil!
