I don’t usually watch without Chuck. But I’m very excited about fusion so I’m here for it.
If fusion energy becomes viable for both power generation and space travel, which do you think will have a greater impact on humanity—solving our energy crisis or enabling deep-space exploration?
The fact that Iranian scientists especially women are leading the frontiers of science and research make me really proud of my roots and my people 2:50
I have an Earth Science Degree and I LOVE your casual shows that interview very very upper level subjects at a level everyone can understand. I have so much respect for you and the guests you have on. I love the discussions at a comfortable level. Thank you so much!!!
I can imagine that many people feel like they are spending peaceful time with their families in the living room of their home while watching stars talk 😊
"Give me more funding" the best punch line of the whole podcast LOL! Great educational discussion and Prof. Ebrahimi is eloquent and very insightful!
This was a fun episode. She’s delightful and a good sport. Not all guests are as playful with the comic relief. Lots of laughing made it a treat to watch.
I am not a very educated person. I have a BfA, so some college level education, but not in the sciences. I am however very interested in the Sciences as a hobby. Dr. Tyson is probably one of my favorite scientists. Mainly because he is capable of making highly complex subjects understandable to everyone. It would be my greatest pleasure to actually meet him someday, but due to my circumstances and most likely his schedule it is very unlikely. I still think he is the best link for the masses to learn real facts and science in the realms of physics. Truly enjoy these podcasts.
I appreciate how Neil is trying to connect her explanations to our pea brains by asking questions! Hallmark of a great teacher!
Neil, I love how your channel fuels my curiosity, but I can’t help wondering—can success ever bridge the gap to those who aren’t already steeped in academia? Your content is a goldmine, yet it feels geared primarily toward highly educated viewers. Once the vlog ends, there’s little incentive for others to keep digging into these ideas. You have the potential to be a 'free college' for everyone, truly elevating the bottom end of society. How can we make these insights more accessible so that everyone can continue growing even after the video ends?❤
