So happy to see Randall and Stefan collaborating! I watch Stefan all the time as well as Randall. Two smart guys who love to impart their knowledge and do it in a way that I can reasonably understand. I've felt the connections between these two fields of study and I'm glad to hear them confirm what most of us feel.

We live in magneto-electric universe. As our sun periodically does a micro-nova, plasma discharge creates those ovals and circles in the direction of the Earth's magnetic pole. That is the energy impact that produces instant glacierization and instant thawing. I would look for a trigger into the areas the sun travels while circling the galactic center as well as changes in magnetic polarities within the solar system. The micro novas may also trigger the release of hydrogen (the most common element in the universe) out of the earth's core, producing biblical floods that then instantly turn to ice once the micro nova is over. Physical change of the earth's poles is also possible, impacting the earth's rotation direction temporarily, while all the bodies of water would continue in the previous direction (centrifugal force) and displace Pacific ocean onto Americas and the Atlantic ocean over Eurasia and Africa and so on. At the moment the micro novas are the most prevalent theory of the cyclical cataclysms

It makes me wonder if the Sun is a less static entity than what I thought. I wonder if the Sun has pulsed at earlier times, dimming and surging to large degrees of change. That could account for some massive and instantaneous changes to the Earth.
