That quake lasted forever!! I'm on windward side. I had books falling off the bookshelf.

The shockwave went all the way to new zealand and gave us a deep ghost quake in the French Pass/Cook Strait just 10 minutes later - this was a huge deal!

I fell asleep, probably around 8:30 last night on big Island and literally woke up to the whole house, shaking, knowing that it was an earthquake and it kept shaking longest earthquake I’ve experienced in the last 20 years that I’ve lived here. I woke up for the other smaller ones, I think an hour or so later, I feel nauseous. I get seasick very easily lol rockin and Rollin.

Also, all the dogs, including my dog got so ruffled up they were barking for like 15 minutes after all over the neighborhood you could hear them

In Makawao Maui- it sounded like grinding gravel. Weird sound
