Once Antarctica's Volcanoes Wake Up, Everything Changes...

Buried under the ice of Antarctica dozens of volcanoes have been discovered, indicating a vast volcanic field as part of a larger rift system like found in East Africa. Difference is Antarctica is the world's larger reserve of freshwater, locked away as ice many miles thick. Antarctica as a whole also has a very high albedo and helps reflect a lot of solar radiation back to space, helping to cool the planet down. If the volcanoes were to awaken, and the ice to melt, massive climate shift would occur and the entire Earth geophysical system would have to drastically adapt.
