It seems like "something's about to happen" for so long that it's exhausting. So tired.

I've never heard of "grounding", until my 3rd deployment to afgan. This army guy was attached to us, since were marines we said 7 months he was army they did 12 months . So he had been there about 9 months, he was at the PB, well he always walked around barefoot out there. We were like wtf, why you always walking around barefoot, no grass just hard ass dirt an sand. Lol. He was always chilled, slept good, see to have a very balanced head when shit hit the fan, just seemed clear. Well he informed us about that, he called it "earthing". Said he helps him with mental clarity and his joints after 6 hour potrols, and earthing helped lower cortisol levels, improving stress management. You could tell the way je was living it had to be doing something. 1st sgt came down to te fob on the last month to check on all the guys that originally were deployed there, and asked why we were all walking around barefooted around the fob. 😂😂😂 he laughed and said what ever gets the job done. Lol To this day my wife makes fun of me when i am "earthing". I don't make a big deal about it, most days i hang out for 20 30 mins outside bear footed. On sundays an hour everyday, have my little spot with a firewood burning pit, and a barrel of ice water i sit in sometimes. Plus a little swapie, area with 100s of frogs an toads eerrppoinggg, 24/7. litE my fire pit, lay around on the ground listening to the earth sounds around, totally reaxtion. Nothing better and soaked in ice water laying on the ground and the smell of thick firewood somldering, and lingering in the air, with the sounds of frogs, crickets, brids, toads, filling the air and something smacking the water every now an then. Birds and squirrels running around. Earthing is a real thing and seems to help me greatly with life sturggles, and rrrrrreallly, helped me with sleep. Got me sleeping regularly again. Wife and her friends make fun of me, i diet even do it when they there. They like yea, he thinks he is an "earth god" out there. Like really? Half the time i doing it your asleep asshole. Lol. Earthing, i love it. Lol
