Just days after the sundiving comet C/2026 A1 MAPS was vaporized into a plasmoid by the Sun, a second smaller sundiving comet followed directly behind MAPS along the same vector of travel. A couple weeks later we'll see the larger and brighter comet C/2025 R3 PANSTARRS perform its perihelion then to follow with a perfect Sun-Comet-Earth alignment on April 25-27th 2026.
