"allau ackbar!" is not a right wing rallying cry.
The weak as piss Australian prime minister is pushing for stronger gun controls after the Bondi shooting. He is blaming right wing extremism for provoking the attack. Politicians will never address the real problems.

Constitutional carry state here, where 20% of the men are armed at any given moment and waiting for their chance to become a local legend. Zero mass shootings, tiny crime rate. What a surprise.

As an australian, this is not a gun issue.
I moved to Texas in 2005 and ran a company there for 12 years. Police officer friends insisted I get a Concealed Carry License and I did- which at first felt strange to an "Australian". I trained hard, took great care and carried that handgun on my person every day for 10 years, I NEVER felt safer or more in control of my life than I did then. Back in Western Australia now and it SUCKS!!! These people are SO brainwashed, so afraid of their own shadow, so gullible to State Controlled Media BS!
