Addressing it will have the same outcomes as Tim vs Eliza *Blew* and DW vs LwC: Create negative publicity. Only difference is Tim 100% needed to address but he did a craptastic job at it. The LwC and DW dispute would have blown over eventually. Crowder vs Dave is a much smaller scale. If Steven addresses it, he should keep it short along the lines of "I acknowledge what Dave said, I don't agree with everything but it's unfortunate we couldn't work it out." and let that be the final word. No drama.
