I still can't believe this investigation led to such a fundamental issue in TypeScript being uncovered. These chaining patterns are pervasive across the ecosystem, and their O(3^N) behavior never would have been uncovered if not for Theo and Alex sponsoring my work. Absolutely GOATed 😍

will $4,000 make doom on types run faster?
I use your code - every day - and you made me start loving TS. Man I am grateful. That's all.
A 75% reduction is wild
Holy fuck this is incredible
Shoutout for Typescript team for being open and have good spirit.
I’ve been having this exact same issue in a large code base and I thought it was just an editor issue. Really appreciate your efforts here.
