Bro is never uploading the Cloneathon video
Convex part starts around 32:16 before that is mostly just drama according to an AI
A DB is the soul of a app. We need a 2nd video with all the little details of delight from Convex.
he needs to start adding post credit scenes and start calling these movies
I'm a Full Stack engineer that has been mostly backend-oriented my whole career. To me, SQL and tuning RDMBS systems is awesome and very powerful. ORMs are a fine intermediate layer, and I find I almost never deal with SQL directly; although, I'm fully aware it's under the hood. React Query works fine talking with the backend over REST APIs, which are backed by the database. I do not see how "moving away from SQL" makes sense, as it's already abstracted three levels deep (SQL => ORM => REST API => React Query).
Please do that in detail video! This was great
Theo is my favorite shill provider 👍
Learned of convex from one of your videos, about switching to it for t3 initially. I switched last month, and it was a game changer for me. Not looking back, running with this 100%
Thanks for telling the whole story. I have started exploring Convex because of your videos and having fun building with it. Looking forward to the detailed convex videos. Especially excited about Convex Components like workflow for running Durable code.
This is really great. I’ve been building this way for years, this really condenses the approach into a really nice package.
