LOVE the dudes in the arena. But I wish they would bring in more experts like this more often.
Dorsiflexion is the answer lol. In college I was a receiver who ran track to stay in shape, my track coach taught us dorsiflexion prevents a lot of injuries from explosive movements
Makes sense. You never ever hear about Achilles tears in soccer. Strengthening the ankles and feet is fundamental
I read that Steph learned how to tumble after his first ankle injury and that really helped him to stay injury free afterwards( barring recent injury). I see him do it many times.
What a refreshing segment......I haven't watched the arena in awhile cause it's just click bait now......but this.....this was great...
I was a division one runner it went to NCAA finals my junior and senior year. I’m telling you we worked on our Achilles and calf muscles a ton. When you’re running like 70 miles a week they’re gonna get worn down so you’re definitely gonna need to have that strength. Even like consistent calf raises will help.
8:34 felt like the class clown asking the teacher a question u already know nick was on bs in hs 😂
this is the best segment gills arena has ever had
7:42 most important for injuries. If you heal correctly and gain strength for the weak muscles, the results speak for themselves
6:20 knees over toes exercise. Calf raises, tibialis anterior raise, weighted lunges
