The MCU is now the cinematic equivalent of the guy in his 30s trying to recapture his high school glory days.
It's interesting that the last movie many of us cared about, Endgame, ended with a funeral. We thought it was for Tony, but maybe it was actually for the MCU.
Everyone to Disney: "You could not live with your own failure. And where did that bring you? Back to us."
MCU post-Endgame is like a bunch of random side quests after the main campaign has been completed.
Doomsday being a direct sequel to Endgame is Marvel openly admitting that they wasted 7 years.
Avengers Doomsday feels like an ex from 5 years ago cold calling me, saying she wants to get together again, after I've moved on and forgotten about her.
My money is on "break". Gathering all the familiar faces and packing them into Doomsday, screams of absolute desperation.
Spent 11 years making massive profit only to spend the next 7 blowing all of it.
Spoiler alert: there's a big CGI fight scene at the end.
This movie is like when you forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer, and now youre trying to panic thaw it by throwing it in the microwave before your mom gets home.
