If I didn't have the Daily Show to make me laugh about this debacle, I'd be weeping about it!!

You folks over at the daily show make it bearable to consume the news. It’s pretty much the only way I can handle watching news without sinking further into despair and depression.

I'm Canadian, so an observer only, to preface this. I want to say, I'm so proud of how many Americans are standing up against this. At this point, what has happened has happened, and every time I see people standing up against these turn of events (despite knowing they may be putting themselves in the line of fire) it fills me with hope. I send my love and empathy to American people right now and I want to say "I look forward to being sibling countries again. I miss our closeness and I only want the best for you".
